On April 7th, I will once again be participating in the 7th Annual RCCS Hockey Tournament. YES again - and wearing #64!
Over the past 6 months we have all been feeling the heartache and pains of our relatives, friends and the rest of our brothers and sisters in Israel. We have collectively sent millions of dollars, all types of supplies needed by our chayalim and made trips to volunteer in many different places so that kibbutzim, farms and other businesses can keep on going and surviving while the war rages on.
Unfortunately, the dread of cancer continues to plague individuals who need the medical attention to fight the disease and their families who are there to support their loved ones.
RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society) continues to do its utmost to respond to the thousands of requests for assistance so that these families can get the best medical treatments, advice and the financial support to continue the battle and survive with dignity.
It is another war that our brothers & sisters are fighting.
Each year I dedicate my playing in this tournament to my 3 close friends who we lost to cancer over past several years: Coach Mike Libman, Dr. Mark Weiner and Harley Greenbaum. I am also so grateful for the assistance that RCCS provided to my Brother/Sister-in laws, who are now both, Thank God, cancer free.
My wish is that the zchus that we get from giving all of our tzedakas will lead to a complete peace in Israel and a fast refuah for all the patients that are suffering.
Please join me in supporting the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society in their most important and impactful mission
