For the past seven years, I have consistently dedicated my efforts as Captain of the hockey team to honor a loved one who has either battled or is currently facing the adversity of cancer. This dedication serves as a testament to the resilience and strength of those individuals and their families who have been impacted by this formidable disease. Through this commitment, I aim to honor their courage and perseverance, while also fostering awareness and support for the cancer community.

This year, I proudly pledge my efforts to raise money for RCCS to a close family friend, a courageous young warrior, a beautiful 10-year-old girl, and her brave family, who are valiantly battling the unimaginable challenge of a brain tumor. Amidst the exhausting treatments, endless hospital visits, and daunting uncertainty, their belief and hopes remain strong, a testament to their remarkable emunah and bitachon in HKB"H. As they face unfathomable obstacles, they demonstrate that courage and belief in G-d has no age limit.

While I lace up my skates and hit the ice, it's not about me or my team raising a cup – it's about the real fighters like this brave young girl and her family, who confront the grueling realities of cancer head-on. Every shift, every pass, and every shot will be played with the utmost dedication to their journey, honoring their strength, and fueling the fight for a brighter tomorrow. May our collective efforts inspire hope and support for those facing the darkest of diagnoses, and may this young girl's unwavering spirit serve as a beacon of light in the darkness.

Your donation to RCCS should protect you and those you hold dear from this terrible disease. For the sake of anonymity persons name cannot be posted. Please have this young child and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

On April 7 & 8 I will be facing off against cancer as I play in the annual RCCS Hockey Classic, benefiting the families and patients of RCCS.

The mission of RCCS is to tackle cancer challenges, ease medical treatment, cover insurance premiums to lighten the financial burden, and make cancer care more accessible. Without this great organization, 5,194 patients would stare death in the face with little chance of recovery and survival. RCCS stands by each individual throughout every step of the process, holding their hands along the way to help them fight and win the war against cancer.

Please help this life saving organization by supporting me and my team as together we face off against cancer.
