It's 2024 and the fundraising is BACK!
On April 7 & 8 I will be facing off against cancer as I play in the annual RCCS Hockey Classic, benefiting the families and patients of RCCS.
This past year, RCCS came through for MY family in our time of need. I've always been proud to support their work, but this year... it's personal. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months ago. RCCS helped him immensely with getting on insurance, with doctor recommendations, and of course financially. When doctors were originally painting a grim picture, RCCS gave us hope and quickly assured us, even before the doctors did, that things were not as serious as the first doctors made it seem.
They were right, of course, and BH my father is post-surgery and doing great! Every year it's been my pleasure to give, but this year it's my privelege to give back.
So help me give back to an organization that was there for my family when we needed them, and may you merit to only give and never take.
